Time for Two began over 20 years ago as a fund raiser for the Sunrise Mothers' Center located in Bellmore, NY.

The Center is a meeting place for moms which was opened over 30 years ago and is a member of the National Association of Mothers' Centers (NAMC) which has centers throughout the United States and abroad

The purpose of the Center is to assist mothers in overcoming the feelings of isolation that sometimes come with motherhood.  They offer discussion groups on topics ranging from Transitions into Motherhood, Women and Friendships, Toddler Issues and Self Esteem Issues.  In addition guest speakers offer discussions on topics such as How to keep your child safe from predators, CPR, How to speak to your child about their bodies, Financial lectures and more.  Finally we have a great Social Committee that plans social outings each month for both moms and children.
